Walnut Shells

Walnut shells are excellent soft grit abrasives used in blast cleaning and tumbling. They are used in applications that require aggressive stripping or cleaning without damage or effect on the underlying subtrate. Organic and biodegradable, walnut shells are extremely durable, angular in shape but considered a soft abrasive.Walnut shell blasting grit is an excellent replacement for sand (free silica) to avoid inhalation health concerns.
